Welcome!

Life can be overwhelming sometimes, filled with struggles that leave us feeling lost and unheard, unsure of where to turn. Whether you're battling anxiety or stress, processing the heartbreak of a relationship breakdown, overcome with grief, or simply feeling like there's no one to talk to, you are not alone. Seeking support is a brave and powerful step  -  thank you for reaching out.

As a counsellor, I offer you a supportive, confidential space and a calming presence where you can explore your deepest emotions and thoughts without fear of judgement or bias. I genuinely accept you as you are, honouring your right to be a unique individual.

With empathy, warmth, and compassion, I provide a space where you will feel truly heard. Please note that my role is not to ‘fix’ you  -  healing looks different for everyone, and while I cannot promise a specific outcome, I will walk beside you as you navigate your own path. Healing isn’t just about overcoming pain  -  it’s about fostering resilience, rebuilding confidence, and embracing the possibility of a brighter future.

Counselling is not always easy. At times, exploring buried thoughts and emotions can feel difficult, and you may feel worse before you start to feel better, but this is part of the healing journey. Many people discover profound insights, unexpected relief, or even a renewed sense of self as they process their experiences. Healing isn’t always linear, but each step  -  no matter how small  -  moves you forward. Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore, reflect, and grow at your own pace.

Though the road may be challenging, it can also lead to moments of clarity, strength, and transformation. It takes courage and commitment to navigate this path, but with my support, you may find that calmer skies lie ahead. Thank you for taking this step  -  your journey starts here.

Anger Management

Rage - it can feel overwhelming, uncontrollable, and even isolating. But where does it come from? Anger is a natural response to frustration, fear, or injustice, yet when left unchecked, it can take a toll on your well-being and those around you. Whether it's outbursts that strain relationships or lingering resentment that affects your peace of mind, understanding and managing anger is key to reclaiming control.

I can provide practical guidance to help you navigate anger in a healthier way, fostering emotional balance and stronger connections. I offer tailored support over 8 weeks using a combination of Person-Centred talking therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Technique (CBT)-based worksheets.

If this sounds like something that could benefit you, please get in touch via my Contact page.

Structure and fees

I am flexible and can provide online or telephone therapy on a short-term basis (6-8 weeks), or on an open-ended basis, depending on the nature of your issue(s) and your own preference.  Information about opening hours can be found on the Contact page.

I offer a free, initial 30-minute consultation to establish your needs, and to see if we feel we can work together as therapist and client.

Sessions are typically on a weekly basis for 50 minutes and cost £50, payable a minimum of 48 hours in advance by bank transfer.  I require a minimum of 48-hours’ notice of cancellations, otherwise the full fee is payable.

On the rare occasion that I should need to cancel a session with less than 48-hours’ notice due to illness/unforeseen circumstances, I will notify you as soon as I possibly can.  I will then arrange a replacement session as soon as I am able.  I will notify you well in advance of any dates that I cannot do.

If the above sounds of interest to you, and you would like to arrange a free, initial consultation, please complete the form on my Contact page, and I will be in touch within 48 working hours.  I look forward to hearing from you.
